About

A studio for teams building real AI, mobile, and web products.

TekGalaxys is a UK-based applied-AI and product engineering studio. We specialise in the parts of software that are hardest to fake — computer vision, hyperspectral imaging, hardware-edge deployment, and the AI, mobile, and web systems that wrap them into shipped products.

How we’re different

Senior engineers, end-to-end delivery.

Most consultancies you talk to sell you a big team and staff it with people you never met on the sales call. We do the opposite — small teams, senior engineers, the same people from kickoff to launch.

Our capability mix is unusual on purpose. Deep expertise in computer vision, hyperspectral imaging, sensor fusion, and embedded AI. Broad shipping ability across mobile (Flutter, Swift, Kotlin), full-stack web (Next.js, Supabase), and product platforms. It means we can own a vision problem from the sensor to the app in the user’s hand — without handing off to another vendor.

We’re based in the UK, work remotely with teams anywhere, and take on 3–5 serious engagements at a time.

How we work

A four-step engagement.

01

Discovery

A short call. You describe the problem — not the solution. We come back with a written scope, a suggested shape, and a fixed price or milestone plan within two days.

02

Prototype

Weeks, not months. We build a working slice of the system end-to-end — vision model plus product wrapper, not just the notebook. You see something you can click by week two.

03

Production build

We deepen the prototype into the real thing. Weekly demos. Real data. Continuous deployment. If we discover the scope was wrong, we say so early.

04

Launch & iterate

Analytics, observability, and a launch playbook. We stay on after launch to tune, retrain, and iterate against actual users.

What we believe

Four convictions that shape every project.

Ship the boring 80%.

Vision, AI, and product systems live or die on unglamorous plumbing — labelling, calibration, migrations, retries, drift. We enjoy the boring parts. Most people don’t.

AI is a primitive, not a feature.

The interesting question isn’t “can we bolt a model on here.” It’s “how does this product change when a model is on tap.” We design from that assumption.

Small teams beat big teams.

Two senior engineers with taste will out-ship six juniors led by a project manager. We staff engagements like this on purpose.

The client is the co-author.

We don’t take a spec and disappear. Weekly demos, honest tradeoffs, and no “surprise, this is what we built” moments.

Engagement models

Three ways to work together.

Project engagement

Fixed scope, fixed price. Best for well-defined MVPs, targeted models, or a specific product feature.

Embedded team

One or two of our engineers plug into your team full-time for a quarter or more. Best for ongoing product development.

Technical advisor

A retainer relationship for AI strategy, architecture review, and hiring input. Best for founders and non-technical CTOs.

Let’s build something.

The best projects start with a first call where you describe the actual problem — not the polished pitch.
